World Cerebral Palsy Day is a global observance that shines a spotlight on cerebral palsy (CP) and its impact on individuals, families, and communities. SRCC celebrated CP Awareness Day on 14th October, 2023 with an aim of bringing CP children and their families together & spreading awareness. At the SRCC Centre for Child Development CP Children are treated through a multidisciplinary approach using Physiotherapy, Aquatic Therapy, Prosthetics & Orthotics, Multi-disciplinary clinics, Occupational Therapy, and many more. Children with their parents/ care-givers and staff wholeheartedly participated in the celebrations. Activities such as pottery, craft, tattoo, game stalls were arranged for the children at the centre. Children were also entertained with dance & music. Food boxes were distributed amongst the children with the kind support of Chanakya Foundation. Ms. Vedika Sanghi gifted hoodies and bags to the kids. About 48 Cerebral Palsy kids seeking services at our centre participated in the event.
