SRCC initiated a program for Epilepsy patients with a view to perform surgery for those eligible for it. To establish eligibility for surgery diagnostic tests will be conducted at the SRCC Children’s Hospital. One such test is a “Neuro-Psych Evaluation” which is being conducted by the Psychology department at the SRCC Centre. Specific to testing for Epilepsy surgery eligibility the psychologists have been trained in the areas of developing protocols for neuropsychology evaluations for epilepsy surgery, epilepsy surgery testing, developing functional MRI Paradigms etc.
