Microgreens – Workshop

A workshop on “Microgreens” was conducted on 9th June, 2022 by Dr. Sanchita Chaudhari, Assistant Professor – Department of Botony, Ramnarian Ruia Autonomous College for the children seeking therapy at SRCC Centre’s Case Special Education Therapy Dept. Total 40 participants attended the workshop in two batches between 9.45 am & 12.00 noon. A power point presentation explaining the concept of microgreens, how to grow them at home, benefits & uses of microgreens were the main highlights of the workshop. Following the presentation, a gardening activity on sowing seeds of moong and mustard in a mix of cocopeat and soil was held in the courtyard by Dr. Sanchita Chaudhari and Dr. Jessy Pius, HOD Botony – Ramnarian Ruia Autonomous College.
