SRCC Citi Academy for Skill and Education (CASE) held its much-awaited Project Day on Monday, showing its strong commitment to inclusive education. The event was led by Chief Guest Padma Bhushan Mr. S. Ramadorai, a key figure in India’s IT revolution, and celebrated children’s curiosity and love for science. The program began with a devotional song, “Ma Sharade”, sung by the children, creating a peaceful start. The audience included Hon. Gen. Secretary Mrs. Jyoti Doshi, Hon. Jt. Secretary Mrs. Neha Mehta, Hon. Jt. Secretary Mrs. Malashri Patel, CASE Chairperson Mrs. Mala Ramadorai, Director (Academics) Ms. Nandita Sirur, therapists, parents, and visitors from nearby schools like BJPC, VMS Learning Centre, Child Reach, and TABIS. This year’s theme was science and experiments, reflecting CASE’s belief that every child should enjoy the same learning opportunities as in mainstream schools. While Environmental Science (EVS) is already part of the curriculum, CASE wanted children to also experience the wonders of biology, chemistry, and physics through practical experiments. Projects were displayed at different levels: Senior classes: volcano models, lung capacity tests with balloons, experiments on magnets, solar energy, and machines. Some also focused on recycling and environmental care. Middle classes: life cycles of butterflies and frogs, water experiments on refraction, salinity, and buoyancy, human body demonstrations, and models of natural disasters. Vocational learners: seed germination, plant varieties, and hygiene projects showing science in daily life. Younger classes: fun activities like sink-and-float and invisible ink experiments in a “Secret Agent Mission.” Children explained their projects with the help of therapists and parents, building confidence and communication skills. A prize for the best group added excitement and healthy competition. Through this Project Day, CASE once again proved its dedication to helping every child discover their potential and enjoy the magic of science.
