SRCC CASE Special Education Therapy Dept. held their first in person Annual Sports Day 2023 after the Covid 19 pandemic on Saturday, 14th October 2023 at the Campion School grounds. The event started at 9 a.m. with the Flag relay followed by the drill march of our youngest children from the junior group with sparkly Pom poms display. All the participants took the Oath lead by the Sports Captain. The events were carefully planned keeping in mind the fine and gross motor skills of children. Innovative races like “go to school,” “ring race,” were organized for junior groups to represent their independent life skills. The senior group had events like “Rope race (Hurdles),” “Tile Race” to showcase patience, prompt action and problem-solving skills. The Highlight of the day “Side Hopping race” for mothers and “100 meters running race” for fathers were conducted. Each child cheered their parents throughout the race. Followed by this we had an Ex-Students race, which gave the participants Nostalgic memories of their days at CASE. Refreshments were served while maintaining zero injuries. The event ended with wide smiles, happy faces, and racing hearts.
