Venue:SRCC Centre for Child Development
SRCC Centre for Child Development celebrated Children’s Day on Friday, 21st November 2025, with great enthusiasm and a deep commitment to inclusivity. The campus of SRCC became alive with colours, laughter, and meaningful interactions as about 180 children participated in the event. The venue was transformed into a vibrant, child-friendly space featuring colourful decorations, uplifting music, thematic backdrops, and cheerful animal mascots—creating an environment where every child felt welcomed and celebrated. Professional performers enthralled the children with an interactive magic show, energetic juggling acts, and a delightful bubble performance. The children cheered, laughed, and actively joined in the magic tricks, while the bubble show created unforgettable moments of wonder. Hands-on activity stalls encouraged creativity, sensory exploration, and fine motor skills. Children eagerly participated in cake decoration, khakra decoration, and canvas painting, proudly displaying their beautiful creations. Another major attraction was the tattoo corner, where artists designed child-friendly, colourful tattoos that brought excitement and joy to every participant. The Therapists added a special touch by curating a vibrant collection of therapeutic and festive activities. Children decorated Christmas hangings and expressed themselves through bright and imaginative artwork. These activities are aligned with the therapeutic goals—promoting imagination, sensory integration, and artistic expression in a fun and supportive environment. Food hampers, art kits, bath towels, and hygiene kits were generously sponsored by the Inner Wheel Club of Bombay, Inner Wheel Club of Bombay Seacoast, Inner Wheel Club of Bombay Pier, and Inner Wheel Club of Bombay Midwest. These gifts were distributed not only to the children at the CENTRE but also to young patients in the general ward of SRCC Children’s Hospital, bringing smiles across the campus. The Children’s Day celebration at SRCC CENTRE for Child Development was a heartwarming success—filled with joy, creativity, laughter, and meaningful engagement. It beautifully reflected the CENTRE’S commitment to nurturing health, hope, and happiness in every child. The event strengthened the bond between children, families, and staff, making it a truly memorable day for everyone. Special thanks to Smt. Maniben Mehta Smarak Nidhi Trust for their generous support in sponsoring Children’s Day 2025.
