EEIP SPORTS DAY 2026

Date: February 19, 2026
Venue: Activities Hall, SRCC Centre for Child Development

The Early Education and Intervention Program (EEIP), run by the Rehabilitation Department of the SRCC Centre for Child Development, successfully organised its Annual EEIP Sports Day 2026 for children with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and other neurodevelopmental and physical disabilities. Under the guidance of our Physical Education Therapist, the children enthusiastically practiced and prepared for the event. The day began on a vibrant and joyful note with a heartwarming dance performance presented by the students under the direction of our Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) Therapist. The performances brought smiles to everyone’s faces and created a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere for parents and guests. A variety of games and activities were thoughtfully planned according to the abilities and needs of the children. These included Running Race, Market Game, Ring Wear, Get Ready, Target Game, Lagori, and Searching Animals — a specially designed activity for children with Cerebral Palsy. Through these engaging activities and games, the children enhanced their motor skills, coordination, attention span, social participation, and self-confidence. Most importantly, they experienced the joy of participation, teamwork, and achievement in a supportive and inclusive environment. Another special highlight of this year’s Sports Day was the active involvement of parents. A lively group dance performance by parents added warmth and excitement to the celebration. Parents also enthusiastically participated in the Balloon Race Game, making the event even more joyful and memorable. Winners were awarded prizes, which further encouraged participation and added to the festive spirit of the day. The Sports Day concluded with each child receiving a certificate and medal in recognition of their participation and efforts. The happiness and pride reflected on the children’s faces made the EEIP Sports Day 2026 truly meaningful and memorable for everyone involved.
