SRCC Centre for Child Development launched “Vestibulator Ogen 1.2” machine for its Rehabilitation Department through generous donation received from Anglo-French Drugs & Industries Ltd. The machine itself is unique and state-of-the-art and was custom-made by IIT for SRCC; it is only second of its kind in Mumbai. The “Vestibulator Ogen 1.2” machine was inaugurated at the hands of Mr. Abhay Kanoria, Chairman & Managing Director, Anglo-French Drugs & Industries Ltd.

The Vestibulator will be utilized for providing stimulation motions in every posture at a variable speed, frequency and time duration with predetermined maximum and minimum attributes to all motions. It will enable the children being treated for Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disabilities and Vertigo to enhance gaze stability, posture stability and improve activities of daily living. It will aid in meeting the needs of the children from lower economic strata having various medical issues.
