SRCC celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day, with great pride and patriotic spirit. The National Flag was ceremoniously hoisted by Mrs. Jyoti Doshi, Hon. General Secretary, Mrs. Malashri Patel, Hon. Joint Secretary, Mrs. Anupa Shah along with Mrs. Nandita Sirur, Director of Academics, Dr. Sharvari Kumthekar, Director of Rehabilitation Department, in the presence of all employees and the children with special needs at the Centre.
As the Tricolour proudly fluttered in the air, everyone stood together with deep respect and pride as the National Anthem, “Jana Gana Mana” was sung, creating a profound sense of unity and patriotism.
The celebrations continued with a heartwarming musical presentation by the children from Citi Academy for Skill & Education (CASE) Department, who serenaded the audience with a beautiful selection of patriotic melodies, including “Ae Watan,” “Vande Mataram,” and “Zenda Amucha Priya Deshacha.” Their enthusiastic participation filled the quadrangle with pride, patriotism and joy, adding a special warmth and vibrancy to the celebrations.
The celebration concluded on a warm and memorable note, as everyone came together to remember the immense sacrifices of our freedom fighters and their invaluable contribution to India’s independence. The spirit of the occasion stayed with everyone as all returned to their work with a renewed sense of patriotism, unity and pride for our nation.
