This Training workshop was organized for In-house Physiotherapists & Occupational Therapists. KIASTM / PIASTM is a therapeutic technique that uses specific applied instruments on children to promote mobilization of restricted tissue which results in significant improvement in joint range of motion, tightness & gait pattern. The therapists learnt to locate the restrictions and use the ergonomically designed tool to treat the affected area with appropriate amount of pressure. They were very happy to see the results on the 6 patients that were called for demonstration. According to the therapists 70% of the children seeking therapy at the Centre will benefit from this technique. This can especially help the children who may not want to undergo Botox surgery. All the therapists received certificates and one tool and a manual each.
