SRCC Centre for Child Development along with the Cardiorespiratory Department of SRCC Children’s Hospital successfully celebrated the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Week. The celebrations commenced with an expert talk by Dr Indu Khosla, pulmonologist, SRCC Children’s Hospital, on the topic “Pulmonary Rehabilitation – When and Why,” highlighting the significance of early intervention in respiratory conditions. Ms. Mahek Makhija, Nutritionist, emphasized the role of diet in respiratory wellness and its impact on lung health. Dr Saylee Joshi and Dr Disha Mane provided a comprehensive overview of evidence-based strategies for pulmonary rehabilitation in paediatrics, underlining the importance of tailored interventions. Pulmonary Rehabilitation week celebrations were concluded with fun and interactive breathing games aimed at enhancing respiratory strength and endurance while reinforcing the need for mindful breathing in daily activities. The event was well-attended by the rehabilitation and administrative staff, fostering awareness and knowledge on paediatric pulmonary rehabilitation.
