Microgreens – Workshop

A workshop on “Microgreens” was conducted on 9th June, 2022 by Dr. Sanchita Chaudhari, Assistant Professor – Department of Botony, Ramnarian Ruia Autonomous College for the children seeking therapy at SRCC Centre’s Citi Academy for Skill & Education. Total 40 participants attended the workshop in two batches between 9.45 am & 12.00 noon. A power point presentation explaining the concept of microgreens, how to grow them at home, benefits & uses of microgreens were the main highlights of the workshop. Following the presentation, a gardening activity on sowing seeds of moong and mustard in a mix of cocopeat and soil was held in the courtyard by Dr. Sanchita Chaudhari and Dr. Jessy Pius, HOD Botony – Ramnarian Ruia Autonomous College.
