Christmas 2021 was celebrated by the Rehabilitation Department of SRCC Centre for Child Development on 23.12.2021, organized by the Rotaract Club, in all its joy & happiness. The Courtyard was beautifully decorated; Christmas music was played to create a child friendly environment. A volunteer dressed in the Santa Claus attire cheered the children. Various games like Ring Toss Christmas Objects, Knock the pyramid with a ball, Pin nose & ears on the reindeer, mystery box in which the children were blindfold & asked to guess the object were played by the children. There was a book stall with picture books & a Christmas Tree making stall wherein the children decorated the tiny Christmas tree. The children enjoyed homemade cupcakes & cookies and were gifted with the self-decorated Christmas tree and picture books on their way back home.
The CASE Special Education Therapy Dept. celebrated Christmas in auditorium on 24th December, 2021 from 9.00 am with junior children online. A live musical Christmas carol led by Music Therapist on the harmonium and synthesizer was a wonderful treat to the ears & eyes with the children & therapists dressed in red, green and white clothes, theme selected for the occasion. Video recordings of the songs & dances performed by junior children were presented. A kit to prepare Santa Mask was distributed prior to the celebration & later displayed. The celebration ended with distribution of snack boxes while chocolate boxes were sent to the junior children attending celebration online.
Christmas brings cheer & love and we celebrated it with the same enthusiasm, spreading the message of love & joy among our children.
