Maharashtra was the first state to provide ‘concessions’ and other facilities to children with learning disability. Yet a lot of children still remained undiagnosed and suffered exclusion, discrimination and drop out from schools. This workshop aimed at enhancing awareness, and plan for the future in the educational institutes.

The participants included Principals & Vice Principals of government granted & municipal schools from all zones of Mumbai.

Speakers included Mrs. Ashwini Bhide (I.A.S, Secretary School Education, Govt. Of Maharashtra), Dr Harish Shetty (Eminent Psychiatrist) & Ms. Samindara Sawant (Clinical Psychologist, DISHA Counseling Center).
