It’s been a journey of 75 years of bringing Health, Hope and Happiness to every child. The 75th Founders’ Day & Children’s Day 2023 at SRCC Centre for Child Development were celebrated with renewed vigour of our vision of making sure that no child should go without treatment for want of money. The Centre was beautifully decorated with multicoloured buntings and wall craft items handmade by the staff. It was a great privilege for us to have Dr. Eric Borges (Eminent Cardiologist) as our guest of honour & Mr. Vivek Phansalkar (Commissioner of Police, Greater Mumbai) as our chief guest. Dr Eric Borges & Mr. Vivek Phansalkar enlightened the audience with their speeches and motivated our staff to continue working towards realising our vision. Our Hon. Gen. Secretary, Mrs. Jyoti Doshi in her speech talked about our legacy and presented our future plans to all. On this occasion ‘SRCC Logo – 75 years’ was unveiled. Some of the staff members were recognized for their dedicated services. A ‘’ Magic Show’’ and a ‘’Mini Fun fair’’ with a Tattoo stall were organised for the children seeking therapies at the Centre. The therapists from CASE and Rehabilitation departments had planned fun games, Art & Craft, Pottery and Dance & Movement activities for the children. Hygiene, Art & Food kits were sponsored by Inner Wheel Club of Bombay, Inner Wheel Club of Bombay Seacoast, Inner Wheel Club of Mumbai Nariman Point were distributed amongst the children at the Centre & also in the general ward of SRCC Children’s Hospital.
