On 14th November 2024, SRCC Centre for Child Development organized a series of activities to celebrate Children’s Day. Magic show, juggling show, mini fun fair, pottery & other activities, dance & movement therapy & games were organized for the children to celebrate health, hope & happiness. Rehab Dept. in collaboration with Ms. Devika Mehta & the physiotherapists conducted a dance and movement therapy session which included a range of different activities. Also, the occupational and speech therapy departments organized musical chairs for children. Special educators and clinical psychology team assisted the children in a palm printing activity in which children coloured their palms with various colours to put the prints on a canvas. The children, along with their parents, had a delightful time participating in all these activities. There was also a pottery making activity, where children experienced the joy of moulding clay into beautiful shapes. Art and craft activities were conducted, in which everyone participated enthusiastically. Children decorated their own headbands, adding colourful embellishments to make unique and personalized accessories. Children also showcased their creativity by making bracelets, innovating different designs and colours to craft stylish handmade decorative pieces.
