An occupational training workshop on “Assessment & Documentation in School Based Practice” was held at SRCC Centre for Child Development by Megha Shah (Clinical Supervisor for OT, CCD) with an aim of improving evaluation skills of the therapists using structured and unstructured observations and standardized tests. Various standardized assessments were discussed during the workshop along with the ways of assessing and documenting the problem areas for making a detailed report on child’s difficulties and underlying problems. The various standardised assessments available and used at SRCC Centre were also demonstrated during the workshop. Total 33 therapists participated in workshop and they were happy with the case discussions and the presentations. Participants responded with their willingness of applying their learnings in their clinical practices.
