A talk by Justice Revati Mohite Dere (Judge of the High court of Bombay) was organized for the staff of SRCC Centre for Child Development & SRCC Children’s Hospital for increased understanding of how the Centre & Hospital can go forward and provide equal opportunities in all areas of life for the children under our care and their parents. She threw light on the Persons’ with Disability Rights Act, 1955 which ensures equal opportunities for people with disabilities and provides for both the preventive and promotional aspects of rehabilitation along with some information about the existing laws on Child Rights & Protection Act.
