World Autism Awareness Day 2019
Date: April 2, 2019
Venue: Auditorium, SRCC Centre for Child Development
On the occasion of “World Autism Awareness day” SRCC showcased its support for Autism by conducting a sensitisation talk by senior paediatric Neurologist, Dr. Viraj Sanghi on “Autism Today – what do we know?” for all the doctors, therapists and parents followed by an interactive question and answer session. Blue being the Colour for autism, the Centre building was lit up blue along with blue balloon decor and the colour-coordinated staff dressed in blue.
Autism is a broad spectrum disorder and with early diagnosis coupled with regular therapy it ensures better improvement in the child. However awareness and understanding is the key factor in development.
